Addressing a joint press conference on Monday Suresh Kalamadi MP, chairman of Pune Vyaspeeth and Mukesh Malhotra president MCCIA said that the conference would provide a unique opportunity for sharing the latest on corporate governance, to network with experts and integrate perspectives and practices from all sectors. “The focus will be on IT for smart governance under vision 2020 initiative. By joining hands with the MCCIA our endeavor is to make the conference intensive, participative and interactive,” said Kalmadi.

Under Vision 2020, the aim is to leverage IT to reach out to masses, talk about social implications of governance. The conference will be inaugurated by Dr RA Mashelkar, FRS president, Gkobal Research Alliance and chairman National Innovation Foundation.

Pritviraj Chauhan, Narayan Rane, state industries minister, Baba Kalyani, chairman and managing director, Bharat Forge Limited will be participate in the closing ceremony. Other key speakers include Deepak Shikarpur, chairman IT committee Pune Vyaspeeth, Didier Cordomi, principal consultant-global energy and utilities division, Atos Orgin. Anil Valluri, managing director, Sun Microsystems India Pvt Ltd, Ravi Pandit, chairman and CEO KPIT Cummins Infosystems Ltd will be among the key speakers of the conference.
