Himachal Board declares Class X results

Shimla The Himachal Pradesh School Education Board, on Friday announced the results for the Class X examination held in December 2008 for the winter closing schools. The percentage of successful candidates is 68.03 per cent.

Of the 33, 323 candidates who appeared for the exam, 4,857 candidates have a compartment.

As many as 1,310 students out of the 1,805 candidates who had appeared to clear the compartment last year, were declared passed.

Of the 54 candidates who appeared for improvement in English, 30 students could pass, said Secretary of the Board Prabhat Sharma, in a communiqué released from Dharamsala.

The results are also available on the website www.hpeducationboard.nic.in and www.indiaresults.com.
