New Delhi Monday's fixtures of the DSA super division league yielded a couple of stalemates. Sitting pretty at the top of the super-league table, New Delhi Heroes rallied to hold former champions Simla Youngs to a 2-2 draw. Simla Youngs drew first blood in the second minute through Obed Kamei. But with the change of ends, there was a reversal of fortune for the defending champions as defender Manoj Joshi struck in the fourth minute into the second half. Simla Youngs went ahead again in the 55th minute, but Heroes kept up their unbeaten run in the super league through Gagan’s 74th minute goal.

The second draw (0-0) of the day between Hindustan FC and Shahadra FC was a dull affair.

Women’s trials from Feb 11
The Delhi Soccer Association will hold a coaching camp before selecting the Delhi team for the senior women’s national championship at Janaki Devi College from February 11.

The sessions will be open to all and interested players may report to camp chairman OP Malhotra, convenor Syed Shaheen or Mukesh Saggar, physical director of the college on Wednesday by 2:30 pm for registration.
