Hockey team of Malwa School brings laurels

Ludhiana The hockey tam of Malwa Khalsa Senior Secondary School, Model Gram brought laurels to the school by standing third in the national level hockey tournament. Disclosing this, Khagesh Sharma, Principal of the school said the school hockey team stood third in the 20th Balramour All india K D Singh Babu Hockey Tournament held recently at Lucknow. Harmanpreet Singh was awarded with the best full-back award of the tournament.

Pranav shines in national tourney
Pranav Chopra, a badminton player from the Ludhiana Badminton Academy is performing has done well in the senior national badminton championship being held at Indore.

In mixed doubles category, Pranav Chopra (Air India) teaming up with Pradnya Gadre (Maharashtra) reached semi finals by defeating Gujarat champions Mansi and Vivek by 21-15, 21-13.
