Chandigarh The redressal of public grievances is the top priority of the government, said Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today. Listening to people’s grievances at Rohtak, Hooda said the progress in Haryana would not stop despite criticism by the opposition. The state has witnessed unprecedented development during the past four years, he added.

Haryana has achieved the number one status in many fields and is poised to become the number one state in other areas as well, he said. The state government has already prepared the blue prints for all-round development of the state and it would soon reach new heights of development with the cooperation of the people, said Hooda.

Hooda said the state government would commission one power plant each year to root out the problem of electricity and make the state self-sufficient in power generation.

The people of the state are mature enough not to be fooled by the gimmicks of the opposition parties, he added.
