Agra, January 5 A sting operation on illegal abortions by a Delhi-based TV news channel led to ruckus at a nursing home in Kamalanagar on Friday. The doctors alongwith hospital staff reportedly beat up anchor Manoj Raghuvanshi and a cameraman.

The police were called in to control the situation. A case has been registered against Dr Rajeev Gupta and his wife Rajnee Gupta, nurse Rameswari Devi and others at the Agra police station. They were arrested and later released.

In the FIR, the journalists alleged that the hospital staff robbed them of their valuables including two mobile sets, a camera and thousands in cash. Reportedly, the duo had successfully completed the sting and asked Gupta for an appointment to record his reaction. But when they approached him, they were reportedly thrashed.
