Mumbai The Medical Education Department that manages JJ Hospital has been asked by the police to keep the bodies of the nine slain 26/11 terrorists a while longer. For two months, the bodies have been preserved at the hospital. Tests have been conducted and DNA samples collected by various agencies, including the FBI.

“We received a letter from the police to preserve the bodies for a while longer. It has been two months since the attack and medically we can preserve bodies for six months. Disposal is the responsibility of the police, so we have to keep them till we receive orders,” said Bhushan Gagrani, secretary, medical education.
