New Delhi A city court on Saturday extended the judicial custody of four persons, arrested for their alleged involvement in the DDA flat allotment scam. Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Digvinay Singh sent accused property dealer Deepak Kumar, former DDA employee and alleged mastermind, M L Gautam, Jhunjhunu resident L N Meena and property dealer Raju Ram to judicial custody till February 13.

The court also rejected the bail application submitted by Dinesh, a co-accused, noting that the investigation was at a nascent stage. Dinesh was arrested on January 20 for allegedly opening a bank account using fake documents.

Meena and Kumar were arrested on January 9 and 11 respectively, while Gautam and Ram were held on January 15. Six have been arrested so far by the Economic Offences Wing after allegations of irregularities were made in connection with the draw conducted on December 6 by the DDA.
