HSBC, Capgemini storm into basketball final

Pune, March 6 In the semifinals of the third inter-Information Technology Basketball Championship, being played at Deccan Gymkhana, HSBC Global Technology defeated Zensar to storm into the finals with the scoreline reading 34-33.

The scorers for HSBC Global Technology included Sean Tucker (13 points), Vikram Gill (11 points) and Adarsh Singh (10 points).

For Zensar, Tejeshwar Sood scored 12 points. The second semifinal match of the day saw Capgemini defeating Amdocs 43-34.

And it was Vaidynath Shreenivasan and Deepak Malhotra for Capgemini, who top scored with 17 and 14 points respectively. Jatin Patel was the top scorer for Amdocs with 13 points.

The men’s final, the women’s final and the third place match will be played on Sunday.
