More than five children should not be allowed in an auto. I feel insecure when my child travels in an autorickshaw as it is too risky. Children often play pranks which makes the situation even more dangerous.

The government has taken the right decision to restrict the number of children in an auto. Five children will be more comfortable as compared to ten crammed in one auto. The chances of an accident increase in an overloaded autorickshaw.

The Administration should also consider our financial problems. They should allow us to carry at least six to seven children at a time. Carrying only five children is not profitable at all. Autos are also a cheaper mode of transport in comparison to the school buses.

According to me, safety of children should always be the priority and authorities should deal with the auto drivers strictly. It is also the duty of the parents to ensure that the autorickshaws carrying their children are not overcrowded.

I do not have a problem with the decision of the government to carry only five children at a time. Earlier, I used to carry eight children but now I make sure not to accommodate more than five students. To make sure that I do not suffer economically, I have increased the rates being charged from each student.
