DUE CONSIDERATION TO WELFARE OF EX-SERVICEMAN by M M PATEL on 02 Jan 2010

It is really pleasurable to hear such gratitude displayed in honour of martry of GUJARAT. Yes, such occassions are published in media to earn publicity on name of welfare of soldiers who lay their lives for motherland irrespectively against all kind of odds. But when it comes to welfare of so called brave soldiers, people sitting in government departments don't give due respect & attention to their welfare requirements and benefits for which they are entitled. Lot of welfare schemes looks very good on papers, but when it comes to practical implementations, most are denied on name of lengthy administrative procedures. It is heartily request from one of the soldier here that respected ministers, government officers and staff should take optimum intrest when any welfare related requirements are requested by any ex-serviceman and specially when it is very well acknowledged by Govt of GUJARAT regulation (GR's) meant for EX-SERVICEMAN. Wish I am heard for welfare of all affected soldiers
