Illegal constructions in Hadapsar, Katraj flattened

Pune, March 4 As a continuation of its anti-encroachment drive, Hadapsar ward office of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) on Tuesday took action against the unauthorised constructions.

Illegal construction in survey number number 209 of Hadapsar covering 1,000 square feet was pulled down. In Sukhsagarnagar area of Katraj, about 2,000 sq ft of land was freed under the encroachment action.

Meanwhile, the Dhole-Patil ward office took action against eleven transport vehicles, which were parked near Sangamghat, in a manner that was hindering the traffic movement. They were locked with jammer and Rs 5,500 were collected from them.

The Ghole Road ward office of PMC is going to initiate action in Shivajinagar, Bhamburda, Jangali Maharaj Road, Erandwane against those people, who are have not paid their tax. Under this drive, PMC is going to confiscate the property, cut water supply.
