Implement Mini Bus policy soon, demand bus owners

Ludhiana, January 19 Ludhiana Mini Bus Owners Association today held a meeting at Alamgir Gurudwara, under the presidentship of Jaswinder Singh Grewal.

Grewal said the members demanded that the state government should implement the Mini Bus policy with necessary corrections, as promised to the association. “We also decided to celebrate our establishment day at Sohana Sahib, a historical gurudwara at Mohali.”

The members of the association expressed resentment over illegal plying of autorickshaws. Sehbar Singh President of Jagraon Association, discussed the problem of students who do not pay bus fare. Amarjeet Singh from Raikot and Kartar Singh from Moga expressed happiness over rebate in tax to big buses. Members also raised the demand of decreasing the quarter tax for mini buses. In the meeting, the presidents and members of associations of various districts took part.
