Due to a late start, the match had to be brought down to a 35 overs-a-side affair.Choosing to bat first after winning the toss, the Varanasi team scored 160 runs losing nine wickets in the given 35 overs. Abhinav Verma (38) and Rakesh Mishra (32) were the main run-getters. Sanjeev Rawat bowled well and collected four wickets giving away 27 runs in his seven overs spell.
