ISEC-2009 starts on Feb 23

Pune Computer Society of India (CSI) will host the second India Software Engineering Conference (ISEC) at the Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration (YASHADA) from February 23 to 26. The ISEC conference is the annual conference of the newly created Special Interest Group on Software Engineering (SIGSE) under the umbrella of CSI. ISEC aims to provide a global platform to bring researchers, practitioners, educators and students of software engineering to share the results of their work.

ISEC will also be showcasing original unpublished experimental computer software research in form of papers describing industry experience. The conference would include presentations of six experience report papers discussing latest state of the art practices and twelve full paper technical sessions. ISEC 2009 also features two papers each from flagship conferences Foundations on Software Engineering and ISCE International conference on software and engineering.

The conference also includes a workshop on software product line evolution and tutorials by various industry experts on principles of software architecture design, a model-driven software factory to support enterprise application product-line, emerging trends in software test plan automation and software in manufacturing.
