IT raid on MDLR Airlines offices

Gurgaon, January 31 The Delhi Income Tax Intelligence Department carried out raids in the NCR on Thursday at all offices of the Murli Dhar Lakh Ram (MDLR) Airlines. The office at Civil Lines in Gurgaon was raided by the IT officials around 11 am before the team led by Deputy Collector moved onto other places. Officers disclosed that they had received a tip off that the airline owners had amassed wealth beyond their known sources of income. The IT officials were threatened by miscreants during the raid. Police were called in to control the situation. Raids also took place at the MDLR offices in Faridabad, Sirsa and Delhi.
