He was arrested from Tehri Pulia crossing in Lucknow’s Ghazipur while he was returning from Integral University on the Sitapur Road.

On January 16, the Rajasthan ATS had procured the arrest warrant against Sarvar from a Jaipur court. It plans to take Sarvar to Rajasthan after seeking a transit remand from a Lucknow court.

According to a state ATS officer, Sarvar had a procured a degree from the Integral University in 2008.

A native of Azamgarh, he was the batch mate of Hakim, who was also arrested by the ATS recently.

Hakim was an accused in the Delhi blast case and was carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh, the officer added.

A member of the Indian Mujahideen, Saif had revealed during interrogation that Sarvar had planted the timers used in Jaipur serial blasts.
