Language lab opens at Green Grove school

Khanna, July 28 To enhance proficiency and efficiency of the students in language, Green Grove Public Senior Secondary School, Mohanpur - Khanna inaugurated its language laboratory, a first for the area.

President of school management, J.P.S. Jolly inaugurated the lab by cutting a ribbon and lighting a lamp in the presence of the principal, the staff members, and the students. Mehak said the lighting of the lamp signified the spreading of light and knowledge, dispelling darkness of ignorance. President J.P.S. Jolly along with Principal S. George, parents and students had a trial of the new equipment.

At the outset, the head-mistress, Jaswinder Kaur welcomed the guest of honour J.P.S Jolly and the principal, George. This was followed by a welcome song and a prayer song, presented by the students of the school.

The president, J.P.S. Jolly said that the language lab would help students in developing culturally and materially so that they could compete with the best in the world. Students were of the view that the language lab would definitely boost their vocabulary, pronunciation, accent and retention capacity. Efforts made by the president and the principal in installing the language lab were appreciated by the parents.
