Call Waiting

Playing the lead and singing in Abhishek Kapoor's film Rock On is not the only thing that Farhan Akhtar has scheduled for this year. He is also planning his latest directorial venture: titled Voice from the Sky. It will be set in the times when telephone had become the new means of communication. “I’ve wanted to do this story for a long time but I wondered if there would be an audience for the film. Now, one can go ahead, thanks to the multiplex culture that allows filmmakers to experiment with off-beat stories," says Akhtar. As for the cast and crew, Irrfan Khan is one of the names being considered and he has apparently liked the script.
