Liyaan Akkalkotkar defends titles successfully

Pune Liyaan Akkalkotkar achieved the feat of defending all three of last year's titles successfully after beating Trishala Menkar in theunder-14 final, Akshata Singla in the under-16 final and Siddhi Umarjein the under-18 finals in the rising star open tennis tournament beingheld at Fergusson College Tennis courts on Sunday. In the boys sectionRohit Shinde stood out after winning the under-18 and men's title. Hebeat Vinayak Shrivastav in the under-18 final and Sunil Kusalkar inthe Men's singles final.
