Ludhiana, February 27 The students of Lower Kindergarten in Amrit Indo Canadian Academy presented a colourful programme today, on the characteristics of fruit and vegetables.

Navjot Kaur managed the stage very confidently and invited other student speakers to unfold the qualities of a particular fruit or vegetable. Every speaker was dressed in such a way, as to present himself or herself as a particular fruit/vegetable. They spoke to the audience about the benefits they would get by consuming the particular fruit or vegetable.

The meaningful and hilarious presentations kept the audience spellbound. Somanjit Kaur, Gurjot Singh, Gurleen Kaur, Manraj Singh, Jashandeep Singh and Mandeep Kaur played the roles of different fruits. Jasmeen Kaur, Hardeep Singh, Karanjot Kaur, Harsimrat Kaur and Navneet Kaur represented different vegetables.

The children urged people to stay away from processed food and junk food, and have fresh fruits and raw vegetables daily for good health. The articulate, fluent presentation of the students impressed the audience.

Principal Jaskiran Kaur appreciated the efforts of the teachers in making the children speak on the stage confidently.
