Ludhiana, February 5 Lok Jan Shakti Party (LJSP) has joined hands with Lok Bhalai Party (LBP) to take up the issue of exploitation of Punjabi youths by fraudulent travel agents, marriage bureau etc.

This was decided in a meeting between LJSP president and Union Cabinet Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, and LBP president and former Union Cabinet Minister, B S Ramoowalia.

Ramoowalia gave details of the horrifying activities of travel agents who have fleeced thousands of unsuspecting Punjabi young boys and girl with money on false promises of job placements abroad.

He highlighted that even now, about 50,000 youths are stranded in inhospitable terrains of African deserts and jungles, or jailed in countries like Pakistan, Indonesia, Cambodia, Lebanon, Gulf countries, Sudan, syria, Ukraine, Sri Lanka, Italy, Korea etc.

Ramoowalia highlighted that in hundreds of cases, he succeeded in getting back the money paid by the victimized families to the accused agents. Paswan deputed his Punjab state Party President, Kiranjeet Singh Gehri, to coordinate with Lok Bhalai Party.

Ramoowalia urged the farmers’ unions, NGOs, workers and employees unions, retired government employees and others to carry forward this movement of Lok Bhalai Party.
