L’Oréal invites registrations from its partner B-schools and involves the marketing professors to coach and guide the teams through the competition. Each team of three has analysed and prepared a presentation on the case study of a brand, which this year is Capital Soleil, VICHY Laboratories, Active Cosmetics Division, L’Oréal.

The winners of the national finals will get an opportunity to go to Paris to participate in the 16th International Finals to be held amid students who represent countries the world over. The five national finalists are IIM-Ahmedabad, IIT/ SJMSOM-Mumbai, two teams from NMIMS, Mumbai and SCMHRD-Pune.

Sujata Tyagi, Director, Human Resources, said: “L’Oréal Brandstorm provides a platform for the students to showcase their creative talent. It gives us an opportunity to watch them in action proposing new product lines, packaging designs, marketing strategies and advertising campaigns.”
