Bangalore, March 29: Young Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was in blush as he was told that women find him charming and asked how he handles the attention he gets from them.

Skirting a query from a senior journalist on his plan to get married, Gandhi said it was a personal question and could be answered only in person.

Wrapping up his five-day tour of poll-bound Karnataka, the scion of the Gandhi-Nehru family faced a series of questions at a press conference on his single status and the fact that girls find him charming, that left him blushing.

Asked why so many girls and women throng his meetings and fall over each other to shake hands with him, Rahul paused to choose the words carefully for the reply which was punctuated with smiles reflecting his shyness and blush.

"I appreciate very much that women think that I am charming," he said.

To a question if it was difficult to handle the attention of women, Gandhi said smilingly, "I'm trying to find a way out but I can't".

He skirted queries if he could consider marriage as a solution to handle the attention of women.

Gandhi's meeting in educational hubs like Bangalore and Mangalore had a strong attendance of girls, some of whom jostling to shake hands with him and many posing with the Congress leader for a snap.
