Pilibhit, UP, March 29: A complaint was on Saturday registered against former Union Minister and local BJP MP Maneka Gandhi with the police in Pilibhit accusing her of stealing buffaloes.

One Shabbir Ahmed from Bareilly filed the case against Maneka Gandhi and three unidentified persons, SP Sugriv Giri said.

Maneka Gandhi was on a visit to her constituency on Friday when she intercepted a matador carrying buffaloes and handed them over to the villagers.

Shabbir Ahmed had bought the buffaloes from Lakhimpur and was taking them to Sethal in Bareilly.
