If you are one of those vacationers who want to explore artistic-erotic sculptures in Khajuraho, wildlife resorts in Bhandhavgarh and other world renowned tourist attractions of Madhya Pradesh, planning a trip would just require a drive down to Gomti Nagar.

A swanky new office reflecting the variety and abundance of tourist attractions of Madhya Pradesh has come up at Rajarishri Purshottam Das Tandon Paryatan Bhawan.

An initiative of Tourism Department, the centre will help tourists get comprehensive information about MP here. “Not just information, tourists from UP can get online bookings done for transport, accommodation and sight-seeing,” says Vijay Thakur, president Indian Association of Tour Operators.

"The aim is to facilitate the visit of tourists from the neighbouring state," says Ashwani Lohani, managing director, MPSTDC.

During the inauguration of the office, showcasing the breathtaking tourism sites in the heartland of the country through a video, Lohani elaborated the facilities being provided to the tourists, besides stressing efficient corporate work culture of the MPSTDC.

"State has to its credit of being the first one in many innovations in the tourism sector - this includes a rail coach restaurant in Bhopal. MPSTDC has also been awarded as the best tourism corporation," says Lohani.
