Mumbai Mahindra United under-19 team, playing with a great degree of confidence, came up with yet another good performance to beat Sea View SC 4-0 and collect the maximum three points, thereby securing the top position in the league standings of the Super Division in the Mahindra Mumbai Football League.

Enjoying a brilliant run of form, Mahindra United unleashed a much improved second half display as they overcame the lukewarm challenge of bottom-placed Sea View at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Thursday.

Guilty of being too narrow with their attacking patterns in the opening half, where they failed to find the breakthrough, Mahindra United colts made a blistering start to the second half and found the goals through winger Sagar Khanolkar, striker Sagar Bedekar, substitutes, Leon D’Souza and Cloyce Crasto.

Mahindra United U-19 team coach Santosh Kashyap brought Nitesh Munde for Varin Mehta at the start of the second half, a move which turned out be a defining moment as his inclusion clearly brought more thrust to their attack and more discipline while retaining the possession especially in the final third.
