Bhubaneswar Mounting a scathing attack on Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee, the Orissa unit of the Nationalist Congress Party on Sunday accused her of not giving an appointment to the state Assembly’s House committee before presenting the rail budget in Parliament. “Our party condemns Banerjee for her failure to spare a few minutes to the House committee which wanted to present several demands on railway projects,” said NCP legislature party leader Amar Prasad Satpathy. “Banerjee’s approach clearly shows the manner in which the railway network in Orissa is being neglected by the Centre,” he said, adding that since she became the railway minister her entire focus was on West Bengal.
