Man, wife attacked by three women

Mumbai A past enmity almost turned fatal for one Afreen Sarnobat (20) when three women attacked her on Saturday night.

The women Nutan Dhanghar (41), Farah Sarnobat (23) and Kritika Shaikh (40) allegedly attacked Afreen and her husband near their house in New MHADA colony in Mankhurd at 10:30 pm. They hit them on their back, stomach and head. Police said the reason for the attack reamins unclear.

Afreen, who was pregnant, suffered blows on her stomach and back. She suffered a miscarriage although and was rushed to the nearby SN Hospital.

Afreen has filed a case of attempt to murder at the Deonar police station.
