Police have recovered a diary, where Sudhir, a resident of Kanpur, has written about his "poor performance in the recently concluded examinations." The diary also mentions that he had "been a burden" on his parents and did not want to "trouble them anymore."
SP (City) Paresh Pandey said, "He was evidently under stress and his roommates, who were not present at the house on Thursday night, said he was depressed after his poor performance in the exams."
