Aditya Prakash, chairman of Chandigarh Lalit Kala Akademi and former principal of Chandigarh College of Architecture was the chief guest.
College principal, Dr Puneet Bedi appreciated the panoramic expression of colour and strokes. A poster exhibition aimed at sensitising students towards the problem of female foeticide was held.
The first prize in the landscape contest was bagged by Tanuja of MCM DAV College. Rupinder Singh of GC-46 bagged second prize. Sonia and Nirupama of Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector 26 won the first and second position respectively in life drawing contest. In the poster making competition, Taranjeet Kaur of Government College for Girls, Sector 42 was adjudged first and Anu of GGS-26 stood second.
