Synergising technology with the judicial process to reduce bottlenecks in the system, there will be no movement of files from one court complex to another. A litigant, in accordance with his convenience, can visit the Lok Adalat in any of the five court complexes for resolution of any dispute regarding loans with the ICICI Bank.
Centralised servers containing details of the cases have been installed at all the complexes.
The bank will also move for a compromise in the cases where the civil suits are pending in courts for recovery against defaulting customers.
A hundred such courts, each comprising a magistrate and an advocate with at least 10 years of practice at Bar, have been earmarked. The cases will be taken up between 11 am and 4 pm in the Karkardooma, Patiala House, Rohini, Tees Hazari and Dwarka courts complexes.
