Pune The authorities of MHT-CET have clarified that the students who had appeared for the common entrance test at Anjuman-E-Islam Peer Mohammad High School, Bund Garden Road, would not lose any marks though they had got wrong set of question paper.

Around 20 students who had appeared for MHT-CET in bloc number 5 of the school had complained that they got wrong set of question paper of Physics- Chemistry. For CET, though the questions are same, different sets of question papers are given to the students in which order of the questions is different. The question papers have to match with the answer sheets too.

However, students of the school said the invigilator gave the wrong set that was replaced after 15 minutes. Students were afraid their answer papers would not be recognised in OMR system. The Indian Express on May 13 had reported about the incidence.

According to Nikhil Sangde, even as the students gave written complaint to the officer concerned, the officer did not take cognisance.

When contacted, Subhash Bhagade coordinator of the three centres including Anjuman-E-Islam Peer Mohammad High School clarified that the authorities had taken cognisance of the complaint. “The central supervisor has forwarded the complaint to the authorities in Mumbai and there will be no loss to the students,” he said.
