Chandigarh The Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) on Tuesday submitted its report in the Prime Bodies MMS case and found that the clip had not been forged by the complainant. A senior cyber cell officer said the CFSL had examined the MMS and found no addition or alteration in it.

A woman, who worked as a receptionist with the Prime Bodies gym in Sector 32, had accused its owner of blackmailing her by making a lewd MMS of her.

She had alleged that Amritpal Singh Malhotra had made her MMS in 2006 after intoxicating her. She had left the job when she came to know about the clip. After her marriage in November 2007, she had started working with a beauty institute in Sector 17. In her complaint, she alleged that Malhotra had not released her few months’ salary following which she had served a notice to him.

After receiving the notice, she alleged, Malhotra started blackmailing her using the MMS. She claimed that he sent the MMS to her husband and tried to ruin her married life.

The police had registered a case against Malhotra and sent the MMS clip to CFSL for examination.

“We have received the report and would take appropriate action. The court has already stayed the arrest of the gym owner. We will place the facts before the court in the next few days,” officials said.
