A protege of city-based "grooming guru" and fashion choreographer Jeet Brar, Sanjta has previously walked the ramp for INIFD shows across the country and rubbed shoulders with former beauty queens and supermodels. "I have been selective about the kind of work I do," says Deepika who towers above the rest at a model-friendly 5 feet 9 inches. To this her "mentor" and "guide" Brar adds, "The city has its share of models who are pretty active on the local fashion circuit but Deepika was keen to aim higher. So we got down to serious work." So in came two-hour sessions at the gym, along with a strict diet regime and yes, with ample beauty therapies thrown in.
