Modi to kick off BJP’s election campaign

Pune Even at a time when the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has not finalised their candidates, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will adress a massive youth rally on March 15, which will kick off the campaign for the forthcoming elections.

Addressing newspersons here on Tuesday, BJP city chief Girish Bapat said that even as the candidates will be declared from their unit in Delhi with the state unit having send names, the youth rally will kick off their campaign in Pune.

With the police laying strict restrictions and the code of conduct laid, the rally will be held on the ground near the Baba Bhide bridge and Bapat said that permissions have been sought for the rally. Meanwhile, BJP’s youth wing head Dhananjay Munde said that the rally will address the issues of unemployment among the youth and a yuvak nama, addressing the demands of the youth will be released at this event. The party will also address issues on the failure of the Congress government in the areas of terrorism, control of prices.

The rally followed by the speech of Modi will last for three and half hours. State BJP leaders Nitin Gadkari, Vinod Tawade and Gopinath Munde are to be present for this event.
