MSAB to organise grape fest from Feb 26

Pune Maharashtra State Agriculture Marketing Board (MSAMB) and Gaonkari Krishi Manch in Nashik have jointly organised a Grape Festival in Pune between February 26 and March 1 at Balgandharva Rangmandir.

The festival will be inaugurated at the hands of State Marketing Minister Harshwardhan Patil at 4 pm on Thursday. Minister of State for Co-operative and Marketing Jaiprakash Dandegaonkar, chairman of State Market Committee Co-operative Federation Dilip Mohite, chairman of National Horticulture Board Sopan Kanchan, and commissioner for Co-operatives Krishna Lavekar will be present for the event.

During the four days of the festival, the exhibition-cum-sale will be open between 9 am and 8 pm. A variety of grapes and raisins will be kept on sale. Farmers from Pune, Nashik, Tasgaon, Pandharpur will participate in the festival.
