Nikhil Shinde, the assistant organiser of the 'Footprints' festival, which will begin on February 21, said the workshop was part of 'Footprints' festival.'
Shinde said the workshop was organised before the 'Footprints' as the main tech festival will include a competition –'Siege'– which will require the participants to be aware of automated robots.
He said the workshop trained the participants so that they can implement the technique in the upcoming festival.
In a competition held during the workshop, the students of SVNIT, Surat, DDIT, Nadiad and LD Engineering College, Ahmedabad, took part.
The workshop at the University was organised in association with Robosoft Systems, Mumbai, and IIT-Bombay.
