Lucknow Commenting on the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, former finance minister with the National Democratic Alliance government and senior Bharatiya Janta Party leader Yashwant Sinha said such attacks create a global impression about India being an unsafe country. Sinha was speaking at a seminar on Recession and Terrorism, organised at Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Nirala Nagar area in Lucknow. The seminar was organised by the Lucknow Mahanagar unit of BJP.

Sinha said the UPA has failed to make the people feel secure. “These attacks have opened up the fact that India is an insecure and unsafe country,” he said.

Sinha also spoke on the global meltdown and its effect on India. “Even before the world started facing the financial meltdown and the crisis, India was already caught in this web,” said Sinha.
