Faizabad, February 29 Khalid Mujahid and Tariq Qasim, arrested in connection with the November serial blasts in UP in November, will soon undergo narco analysis, polygraph and brain mapping tests.

IG A K Jain, Lucknow Zone, said: “We had requested the court to allow these tests and it has accepted our request.” The investigation into the case has been transferred to the newly formed anti-terrorist squad (ATS), he added.

Meanwhile, the relatives of the accused have approached the National Human Rights Commission, claiming that both Mujahid and Qasim were innocent.

Qasim’s father Mumtaz Ahmed alleged, “STF has kidnapped my son on December 12. But they later claimed that he was arrested on December 22.” He added, “I had even lodged a missing report with the local police in Azamgarh.”

“In a similar way, the police kidnapped Khalid on December 16 from his place,” said Zaheer Alam, Mujahid’s uncle.
