Vyas was speaking at the 16 D T Lakdawala Memorial Lecture at the 38th Annual Conference of the Gujarat Economic Association.
Vyas, a former minister for Narmada Development in the Keshubahi cabinet and a known pro dam activist, said that it was an absolute necessity to ensure that water from the Sardar Sarovar Project (SSV) is “volumetrically distributed”.
