According to Dr GS Chahal, Dean, College of Agriculture, about 200 participants from various universities and institutes will take part in the seminar. The event will be inaugurated by Dr PS Datta, Project Director, Nuclear Research Laboratory, New Delhi. Dr DS Kalha, Punjab Finance Secretary, will be the chief guest and PAU Vice-Chancellor Dr Manjit Singh Kang will preside over the inaugural function.
The programme will comprise 13 technical sessions, with deliberations by leading scientists. A film on nano-science and nano-technology will be screened on January 23. According to a statement issued here, information regarding the programme can be obtained from Dr VR Parshad, Professor Incharge (EMN) Laboratory, of the College of Agriculture.
