NCC camp concludes

Ludhiana A 10-day NCC camp concluded at BCM Senior Secondary School at Chandigrah Road here on Thursday. On this occasion, Camp Commandant Lt Col R P SINgh gave away the prizes to the cadets.

About 146 girl cadets were given training in PT, drill, weapon-handling, map-reading, firing and other allied subjects at the camp in which 510 NCC cadets from 25 schools took part. The camp commandant applauded the performance of the cadets. He stressed upon the need of self -discipline among the youngsters. He said that there was a need to be security conscious these days adding that NCC cadets could play a role in making the society aware of the present situation.

During the camp, Dr HS Bedi and VK Syal delivered guest lectures while a team of doctors from the Civil Hospital visited the camp. The management of BCM Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh Road, assured the camp commandant of every type of help.
