New-year resolution writing contest held

Khanna Students from classes IV to XII participated in the new-year resolution writing competition held in Green Grove Public School here on Saturday.

Hasrat Boparai of Class VI who won the first position wrote “I want to work hard because I want to climb the ladder of success”.

Gurleen of Class IX who bagged the first spot resolved to raise her confidence level.

From Class XI, Hardeep Kaur Rai with her promise of serving humanity and spreading happiness walked away with the first prize, Satjit Singh of class XI vowed to be more organised which fetched him the third position.

From class VIII, Aseem Mehta secured the Ist position, He intends to be mentally and physically strong. In Class IV, Milanvir assured that she would take part in all co-curricular activities and will give up watching too much T.V. Ankita Mehta of Class V secured the first position because she resolved to be honest this year

The principal of the school, George appreciated the students and felt that writing resolutions was a way of displaying creativity.
