Nishant fashions Indian Eleven win

Lucknow An impressive 78-run knock by Nishant Bhardwaj was the highlight of the match as Indian Eleven defeated National Youngster by 68 runs in their league match of the Adsports Cricket Tournament at the KD Singh ‘Babu’ Stadium here on Thursday. Indian Eleven scored 207 runs losing nine wickets in the given 30 overs. Nishant Bhardwaj (78) and Kunwar Manvendra (47) batted responsibly for the team. While Nishant’s 78 came off 70 balls which featured twelve boundaries, Manvendra’s 47 resulted off 43 balls which featured five fours. Sunil took three wickets while Shrikant took two wickets.

In reply, National Youngster was bowled out at a total of 139 runs in 26.5 overs. Kapil Dev Tewari with 55 was the main contributor. Deepak Taneja took three wickets while Sandeep and Ajay claimed two wickets each. Brief Scores: Indian Eleven: 207 for nine in 30 overs (Nishant Bhardwaj 78, Kunwar Manvendra 47, Haseeb Ahmed 17; Sunil Hans 3 for 35, Shrikant Tewari 2 for 29, Kapil Dev Tewari, C Maulik, Vinay Mishra 1 wicket each); National Youngster: 139 all out in 26.5 overs ( Kapil Dev Tewari 55, Saurabh Dubey 23, Anil Kushwaha 22, Deepak Taneja 3 for 16, Sandeep Pandey 2 for 10, Ajay 2 for 18, Abhishek Shukla 1 for 19).
