No fresh clash in Sanand village

Ahmedabad Godaj village in Sanand district remained peaceful on Wednesday, a day after communal clashes broke out there. Ahmedabad Superintendent of Police Sansip Singh said the situation was under complete control. The SRP would continue its patrolling in the area till Thursday. The police had arrested 11 people on Tuesday under sections 302 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code, pertaining to murder and attempt to murder.
