With hectic and fast paced lifestyles playing down upon the health of people, the hardest hit and most neglected lot of the crowd-women, can now look forward to alternate treatments that Ayurveda has to offer for gynecology based problems that they suffer.

Dr Nimarjeet Rajpal, who practices Ayurvedic medicine says, "Ayurveda has been offering simple remedial solutions with no side effects since time eternal. Ironically due to the heavy marketing of western and allopathic medicine more women choose that over Ayurveda."

Speaking about the most common problems that women encounter she says," Women suffer from mainly three common gynecology related issues, namely Leucorrhoea or discharge of a white fluid from the urinary tract, Ovarian Cysts or Uterine Fibroids and Infertility. For problems like Leucorrhoea, the treatment start showing results within one day, there are tonics and medications, which help to eradicate the problem completely."

Explaining more about the treatments she says, "Under normal allopathic treatment women, who go in for treatment of problems of ovarian cysts and uterine fibroids usually have to undergo painful surgeries for their removal. In some cases they might even have to undergo hysterectomy or removal of the uterus. In all these cases the mental and physical trauma faced by women is very high. Ayurvedic treatments like using Uterine Syrups cures the problem within three-five months."

"Also most problems that arise in women are due to irregularities in their bladder control habits. Women, housewives in particular, tend to hold back the urge to go to the washroom. As a result of which, it later leads to problems of Uterine Fibroids in women. Also unhealthy eating lifestyles contribute to problems of infertility in women. The most important things that women can do are to not try and control their bladder, and eat a moderate and healthy diet. It will go a long way in keeping them healthy," she adds.

With Ayurveda offering a host of remedies and precautionary measures to cure women of their gynecology related problems women could opt for a cure, which would be less painful and would have no side effects whatsoever, she says.
