Noted Swiss architect gives presentation on Le Corbusier’s work

Chandigarh, February 13 Paving way for the proposed student exchange programme between College of Architecture, Chandigarh and Academy of Architecture, Mandivsio, Switzerland, founder director of the Switzerland academy Prof Aurdio Gulfetti visited the College of Architecture today.

Earlier last year, principal of the Chandigarh College of Architecture Prof Rajneesh Watts had visited the academy to present the work of Le Corbusier in Chandigarh. That is when the idea of the exchange program was floated.

Gulgetti gave an audio-video presentation of his architectural work. He claimed to have been deeply influenced by the work of Le Corbusier. The 20 projects shown on the occasion, highlighted intermingling of interior spaces with the outside landscape. These included resicdence swimming pools, promanate, school apartments, office building, public parks, etc.
