Chandigarh, February 22 The Punjab and Haryana High Court has issued notices to the State Legal Services Authority of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh and the Registrar General of the High Court regarding a petition filed by Advocate Rup Lal Aggarwal, District Court, Gurgaon.

Aggarwal has stated that the judges of the Supreme Court had requested all Chief Secretaries including those of Punjab and Haryana to put up land acquisition references, under the Land Acquisition Act before the Lok Adalat, as is being done in Andhra Pradesh and New Delhi.

Aggarwal alleged that despite this communication, the Secretaries of Punjab and Haryana did not take any action.

The allegations were they had assaulted one Naveen Badania and snatched his gold chain in the hostel.
