The students of Primary Teachers Training Institutes (PTTI) are again on warpath over discrepancy in the list of trainees who will be going for the bridge course. On November 5, 2009 HRD Minister Kapil Sibal had said that PTTI trainees who have done a one-year diploma course have to enroll for a one-year bridge course as well to make their degrees valid. The first list the government prepared had many discrepancies, so it came up with a second list on August 12. Students, however, claim that there are many of them whose name were there in the first list, but not in the second list. Meanwhile, the government has started rectification of the list and if necessary it will come out with a new list.
